Abstract
Beba beba is a pop up concert experience entitled Matatu in a local Kenyan minivan known as the 'Matatu'. This will capture a vibrant fusion of Kenyan and U.S. Virgin Islands cultures. We aim to transform Berklee NYC's performance space (Black Box) into a Matatu performance space. Through design, we want to give the audience the feel of being in a bus and on a journey to our specific homelands.
