REMIX: MHI Search Tips & FAQs

Within each record in the Music and Health Institute Research Collection there are Music and Health Institute Terms and Indexed Terms. What is the difference?

Music and Health Institute Terms come from the Music and Health Institute Taxonomy which was created specifically for this collection and has an extensive set of terms related to music and medicine. These terms are applied by Berklee staff to help identify topics of interest. Indexed Terms were the terms assigned to the record in a previous database (such as PubMed) and may help researchers identify additional topics of interest.

These terms are added by Berklee staff to help searchers identify whether a paper contains commentary on some aspect of the study of music and health or whether actual research was conducted, and if so, which methodology was used.
