Abstract
This project, as part of the fulfillment of the course of study for the Master's in Music in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games program, is a three minute overture for use in a theatrical production. While not specifically for screen, the skills and techniques employed here include the same that are used in both linear and non-linear visual media. Furthermore, through the use of this overture, a wide variety of themes are introduced, developed, and concluded in order to clearly illustrate the narrative content of the larger theatrical work.
