Presentation Description

Join us for an exploration of the role of charisma and enthusiasm in education! How essential, optional or inconsequential are they when we teach and lead teams? This panel of diverse, excellent communicators will delve into how charisma influences teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and learning outcomes, institutional progress and team building.

Post-Session Exercise

Reflecting upon the role of charisma and enthusiasm in education, consider how the "energy you put into the room" is impacting your students, teams and community. In the week ahead, strategize how you can improve your classes and meetings considering the following points:

  1. How important is it not to be boring? To be original?
  2. When I teach / communicate / listen, how much do I factor empathy towards my audience / community?
  3. When I teach / communicate/ listen, how much do I factor in what I deem is a compelling engagement and hold myself to those standards?
