David Dockterman, a Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, translates research on learning and behavior into scalable products and effective instructional practice. After 35+ years designing scores of educational technology programs, he now focuses on teaching and consulting in support of learning impact.
Presentation Description
The brain physically changes as we gain expertise. What was difficult becomes automatic. What was overwhelming becomes obvious. And we may forget what it was like to be a beginner. In this session we'll explore how domain experts can also grow their pedagogical expertise to better support novices on their journeys to mastery.
