HOME RECIPE: A VISUAL AND MUSICAL EXPERIMENT IN COMPOSITION USING BRAZILIAN RHYTHMS AS AN ELEMENT OF CREATION
This paper reports the development and origination of a visual and musical experiment in composition using Brazilian rhythms as an element of creation. The methodology is based on an artistic research where I developed a creative routine relating music with photography. I hope this methodology will help future musicians to understand themselves as artists in different ways. The objective of my project is to forge my artistic identity, explore my creative process and research about some Brazilian musicality. The deliverable of this work is an EP with original songs that embrace rhythms from brazil with a contemporary approach and the register of a creative routine that connects music with image.
