Abstract
The objective of this culminating project was to elaborate a systematic analysis about the composition and recording process of a musical product in which western contemporary genres and Latin American rhythms were blended. The proposal favored the participation between empirical and academically trained musician building knowledge bridges where a song was created. In accordance “El Condór” was composed based on a blending musical journey between Vallenato, Cumbia, Bembe, Jazz, Funk and Rock. The Methodology used was a performative research with a qualitative approach to explore and enhance multiple composition skills, as well as observe and analyze the process of development of the song.
