Abstract
This project represents a profound voyage of artistic and self-exploration, encapsulating my journey as an artist blending modern music influences with my diverse ethnic background to craft a unique artistic voice. Central to this culminating experience was the practical application of research through composition, performance, and recording.
By arranging Sephardic melodies into contemporary compositions, I collaborated with musicians to bring these fusions to life in the studio, honing my skills in music production and performance.
Beyond creative expression, this endeavor aimed to preserve and celebrate Sephardic Jewish music, documenting the intentional fusion of ancient and modern sounds to ensure its resonance for future generations.
This project is not just the creation of an album but a profound exploration of personal identity and cultural heritage.
As I prepare to share this work, it marks a significant milestone in my lifelong pursuit of musical and personal growth, celebrating the enduring spirit of my roots and identity through a harmonious blend of introspection, creativity, and cultural pride.
