Abstract

The objective of this project is to dive into the Andalusian tradition, and the many other traditions of the Maghreb region. The Maghreb region is in Northwest Africa. It includes Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. The ultimate goal of this project is to find different ways to fuse elements from these traditions with elements from Jazz, and vice versa.
