Abstract
We live in a time where wearable and mobile technology is on the rise, yet we still see many musicians stuck behind their laptops on stage using more and more pre-produced music. I wanted to innovate something that would inspire musicians to step out from behind their laptops and be mobile and creative in real-time. I built something I've called "The Orbit Suit," which is made out of four Numark Orbit MIDI controllers with the intention of using the suit to perform a song live, while "remixing" an electric guitar as well during the performance.
