Abstract
This culminating experience consisted of planning, organizing and executing a songwriters retreat that aimed to bring songwriters, producers and artists into a creative setting. Not only in a collaborative space, but this retreat also aimed to reconnect the participants with nature, a healthy lifestyle and community. Participants had the opportunity to write songs for pitch, meaning for other artists from labels that are looking for new music and sync (music for TV and advertisements). During the camp there were mentors advising the participants on production, arrangement or lyrics. This way the participants were guided towards a product that they can be proud of. In addition to the creative process, the camp was fully documented, capturing the essence of the three-day event. This led to valuable materials that can be used for promotion of future editions of Tell The Tale Songwriters Retreat.
