Abstract
The “Pura Vida” Journey is a final musical project inspired on pictures from landscapes and cultural scenes of Costa Rica, in collaboration with the film maker Verny Argüello. This thesis goes through my musical inspiration process, the composition, the recording experience, the mixing and mastering process, and the ending experience that established a sense of who I am as a composer. Moreover, I created an orchestral analysis between my inspirational resources and the composition, and how the music reflects through the film. The entire work explains what I have learned from Berklee College of Music in mixture with the meaning of what being the first Costarican person on culminating this program means to me.
