Abstract
This thesis explores the rescore for Seven Worlds, One Planet, a trailer for a nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough. It takes shape with lush imagery showcasing the beauty of planet Earth, before exploring some of the harsher realities of our dying biodiversity. It finally reaches its climax displaying all of the continents in succession. The score aims to characterise each passing moment with dynamic movement and unique instrumentation, designed to be a sonic embodiment of diversity.
