Abstract

This is the second of 2 articles comparing music medicine and music therapy studies. The intent was to explore whether music therapy research differs from music medicine research, and if so, to delineate the differences. Studies in oncology were examined. This article describes the Delphi process that was followed to determine the classification of studies that met inclusion criteria. This article also explains why this process can be useful to music therapy and music medicine and discusses its applicability to the current topic. Reasons for and justification for modifications that were made in the Delphi technique are discussed. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2021 APA, all rights reserved)
