Abstract
This project aims to develop a cohesive artistic identity through the lens of creative output and strategic presentation. Centered around the release of a six-part Alternative R&B song series titled VividLY, the project explores how consistent sonic and visual branding can enhance audience engagement and long-term recognition. Each song release includes multiple forms of media content—such as beat breakdowns, lyric videos, and behind-the-scenes footage—to offer immersive entry points into the artist’s world. A distinct color palette and graphic language were used to shape the visual identity, while customized music production techniques helped establish a signature sound characterized by aggressive synth bass and soft, emotionally rich vocals. The structure of the release plan draws inspiration from marketing frameworks and personal narrative arcs, using bi-monthly drops to gradually build momentum and deepen listener connection. One of the primary challenges was balancing artistic integrity with marketing clarity across platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and NetEase Music. Ultimately, this project offers a replicable model for independent artists aiming to build an intentional, scalable music brand that spans audio, video, and social media formats.
