Abstract

Self-described as “goofy slut-rock,” Jilly both pulls at the heartstrings and keeps a conversational, high-energy vibe. With female and queer storytelling at the forefront, Jilly strives to merge the bright, energetic drive of punk-rock with the general digestibility, lyrical sensibility, and catchy melodies of pop. Consisting of two heart-wrenching breakup ballads, one cheeky hookup banger, one adrenaline-fueled introspection, and a half-breakup/half-hookup single, Stronger Feelings explores Jilly’s favorite emotions. From heartbreak and novelty to wild stories and self-indulgences, this EP takes the listener on a rollercoaster of ups, downs, and loop-de-loops via interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.
