Abstract
The Savor Project is an immersive culinary experience inspired by the original children’s book What is American Food? This multi-sensory event explores the richness of cultural identity and diversity in America through the universal language of food. Blending storytelling with interactive design, the experience features motion-reactive projection mapping to bring narrative and flavor to life. Guests participate in a live cooking demonstration designed to expand their exposure to global ingredients and foster curiosity and openness around unfamiliar foods. The evening culminates in a thoughtfully curated multi-course meal that celebrates a spectrum of cultural influences, using ingredients, spices, and techniques from around the world. At its core, The Savor Project invites guests of all ages to reflect on how food can create connection, promote cultural appreciation, and spark meaningful conversations across generations.
