Abstract
This thesis aims to solidify my artistic identity by connecting my Sephardic roots with the newly found influences of Flamenco, incorporating insights gained from this research into my music. By exploring the rich vocal traditions and cultural expressions of Flamenco music, I endeavor to create a unique and authentically influenced sound. This thesis involves an analysis of historical and cultural contexts, as well as new compositions and performances inspired by these influences. Through the integration of these diverse musical heritages, I aim to develop an authentic and innovative artistic expression that honors my heritage and embraces the vibrant elements of Flamenco, contributing to a deeper understanding of cross-cultural influences in contemporary music.
