H. C. Robbins Landon at 100

Introduction

Volume 16 (2026) is in honor of H. C. Robbins Landon, whose birth centenary was March 6. A conference celebrating Landon's birth anniversary was held at Boston University and the Berklee College of Music March 5-7, and was co-sponsored by these two institutions, the Haydn Society of North America, and the Mozart Society of America. Papers presented at the conference constitute the bulk of this volume. We begin in May with two papers presented at the March conference and a lovely memorial essay by David Wyn Jones, which will be followed by submissions on a rolling basis the remainder of the year.

We welcome submissions of items related to the scholarly legacy of H. C. Robbins Landon for this volume, even if not presented at the conference. Please consult the Submission Guidelines for details on preparing submissions, and to ensure inclusion in the 2026 volume, make initial submissions by October 31.
